Manjoo Group operates 13 retail outlets around the island. We are the leader in affordable ready home textiles, home décor and accessories.
We are recruiting shop attendants, store attendants, stock controllers and cashiers for our existing stores and our new Manjoo branch in Tribeca Mall (Ebene).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Uphold the brand’s standard of customer service at all times
- Welcome and treat customers with attention, courtesy and care
- Continually update and improve brand and product knowledge
- Provide assistance to customers in their buying decisions
- Attend to customers’ queries, issues and complaints
- Report to line manager
- Merchandising and shop display to meet the brand’s standards and themes
- Order items from the warehouse to ensure adequate range and stock in shop
- Replenish products on shop floor from the store
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor and store area
- Scan items at the tills and carry out the sales transations on the POS
Skills and Requirements:
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Computer literate
- Customer-service oriented
- Team player
- Well groomed
- Residing in the regions surrounding Port Louis, Moka and Plaine Wilhems
Qualifications and Experience:
- Form IV and above
- Prior retail experience is desirable
- Having worked in a shopping mall will be an advantage
